In 2010, Lucy partnered with ContactsLaw to develop systems that transformed Flat Rate Settlements—dramatically reducing costs and improving service quality. This pioneering work, combined with a flat-rate pricing model, brought revolutionary change to conveyancing in Western Australia.
Building on this success, Lucy led the development of our on-the-spot services—interactive systems that enable many of our legal services to be delivered in a single client consultation.
A passionate advocate for doing law differently, Lucy shares her insights through her podcast Doing Law Differently and in her best-selling book, It’s Time To Do Law Differently. Her work continues to inspire lawyers to rethink traditional practices and embrace innovation.
In recognition of her contributions to the profession, Lucy was named Lawyer of the Year by The Law Society of Western Australia in 2020.
Outside of work, Lucy is a proud mother of three and a champion for working parents. She co-created The Juggle Podcast, producing over 100 episodes to support women in balancing fulfilling careers with family life.
